Woodruff

This was my first shoot with a backdrop/lighting/etc. It was pretty stressful and we really should have started with the family shot. By the time the singles were done, Faith was a little..stressed. Thanks, Woodruffs, for putting up with me as I was figuring it all out. I owe ya.

But look how cute they turned out!

Handsome Jaden

Ryan and Rachel were so good and patient- in that crammed room, with just a lamp and a blanket for a backdrop. We were in the middle of the move -ugh. But Jaden was just so good and handsome, with such a huge happy smile. I hope the pictures turned out ok for ya. I'm looking forward to another shoot with him on Friday. D

The Argyles

So, this wasn't an exactly "smooth-sailing" shoot by any means, but look how good they turned out anyway! Ora, I know I'm prejudiced cuz you're my sis, but you're soooo beautiful! I'm glad I get to take pics of your fam- ya'll make me look good.

Black Mail

J, I resisted the serious urge to post some awesome blooper pictures of you on here. You'd be so glad. Dang it already- maybe I'll change my mind....or maybe I'll just save them for future black mail. bwahahaha! You're gorgeous, sis.

Ethan

Ethan was such a tiny little thing. He was a month old in these pictures and still loook how tiny he is on Susannah's hand. He looks big in that wagon- but it's just a little toy!! Crazy. He is one of the sweetest baby boys I've ever known, and some of my favorite pictures I've ever taken.

Lucky Me

There's no words needed for these pics of Kaylea. I just love my job.

Heidi Marie

Emily is basically a sister, so that makes sweet little Heidi my neice, right? Her pictures went pretty smoothly, considering we were in a tiny little room with a light that didn't...quite...reach where I needed it. I'm still so glad we did these- they turned out beautiful. I just can't believe she's already one. Does anyone know where the last year went???

Hardest Shoot Ever

Ok, picture this. Three toddlers. One baby. One camera. One lamp. Two hands.

I took Trey's blessing photos by myself one night while babysitting him and his sister. I had him in a bouncer (bouncing with my foot) my camera in one hand, and the lamp in the other. Three other toddlers running around out of control. Ya. Needless to say, not too many pictures turned out. But his mom was nice and surprised when she picked him up. (I know... you love me, Ora)

Note to self: NEVER TRY THAT AGAIN!

First Place

My good friend, Haley asked if I would take pictures of her adorable son, Trevan, to enter in a contest. The photo took first place, and is somewhere on a bullitin board in NYC!!! (Well, I heard it is. I've never seen it) I can't really take the credit though- what a cutie pie!
